Friday 19th July 1912
Bry at 6.30 Cold morning bathing. Rain Went over to Finedon in afternoon Dorrie with Mrs Balaam & Freda in Mrs Balaam's trap; I rode Caught in rain and had to change into Bert Wallis socks & shoes. Had a look round their farm. got back about 9.0 to find mother had written saying Dor. must go back on Monday we had arranged for her to stop till Thurs.
